Can't get CD/DVD drive to work in Vista
Vista detects it and loaded the device drivers, but it does not initialize the hardware properly. (I always get error "code 37". Good luck to you. Tony Follow-up - I removed the Upper and Lower filters and it fixed my problem (at least for now). I haven't loaded any Roxio SW; I do have Nero. Tony.

Everything in the help files tends to imply that Vista can burn a CD or DVD without the need to install Roxio or Nero. It does look pretty, I must say. Alcohol 120% doesn't yet work in Vista, but PowerISO does the same things (mount iso files in a virtual drive plus lots more) and seems to be working fine. It looks pretty, anyway. Haven't tried Nero yet, but I have a copy that's supposed to work in Vista.
